Use the API to put video generation inside a program or product. Use MCP to let an Agent call the same generation capabilities. Connect asset preparation, video generation and delivery into a workflow with fewer repeated uploads, clicks and downloads.

Independent task slots for automation and website creation
The website and API/MCP each have their own unfinished-task allowance. Tasks submitted by your Agent do not use the website allowance, so you can keep automation tasks pending while continuing to create on the website.
| Current plan | Website unfinished tasks | API/MCP unfinished tasks |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 1 |
| Starter | 3 | 3 |
| Pro | 10 | 10 |
Unfinished tasks include preparation after acceptance, queueing, generation and result processing. REST, MCP, all API keys and OAuth connections share the API/MCP allowance. Uploading assets without submitting a generation does not use these slots.
Task slots are different from execution concurrency. Submission frequency, hourly/daily submission limits and video execution capacity are still shared across the account. Independent slots let you keep more tasks pending; they do not guarantee more videos running at once or faster completion.
Batch production with fewer repetitive steps
Suppose you have a set of portrait images and several voice recordings for a series of explainer videos. A program can upload the assets, estimate credits, submit generations and collect the completed downloads.
You do not need to open the page and download each result manually. Your program must respect account submission frequency, task allowances and polling backoff. When the allowance is full, wait for an existing task to finish before submitting more.
This works for recurring content series, multiple versions of an explanation and scheduled production workflows.
Add video generation to your own product
For example, a learner uploads narration and chooses a portrait in your teaching app. Your backend calls FreeLipSync, then shows the generation status and completed result inside your product.
The API supports asset preparation, credit estimates, task queries and result retrieval. Webhooks can notify your service when a generation succeeds or fails. Keep your API key on your server rather than in customer-facing browser code.
Let your Agent connect writing, images and video
For example, ask your Agent to turn a product brief into three explainer videos. It can draft scripts with an existing writing tool, prepare portraits with an external image tool, then use prepared audio and FreeLipSync MCP to generate videos and organize the result links.
You can supply the text, images and audio yourself, or prepare them with other tools in the workflow. FreeLipSync API/MCP turns those prepared assets into videos.
Connect through OAuth or securely configure an API key in a compatible client. See setup instructions for popular Agents.
Choose the website, API or MCP
| Your task | A direct starting point |
|---|---|
| Occasional video creation with visual asset review | Website |
| Recurring batches or integration into your product | API |
| An Agent calling video generation alongside other tools | MCP |
MCP does not require a separate connection purchase. API and MCP use the same model prices and purchased credits.
How credits and membership work together
API/MCP credits are purchased separately from membership video benefits. Free, Starter and Pro accounts can all buy credits; membership affects duration, model availability and task allowances. Website benefits and API/MCP credits are separate and cannot be exchanged by switching entry points.
Current packs are $10 / 1,200 credits, $50 / 6,500 credits and $100 / 14,000 credits. Larger packs reduce the purchase cost per credit; model credit rates per second stay the same. Existing orders retain the credits recorded when they were created.
Estimate credits before generating. On acceptance, credits are reserved using the server-verified driving audio duration. Success consumes that amount; confirmed processing failure returns it in full. Accepted tasks cannot be cancelled. Independent task slots do not change prices or introduce membership credit grants.
Start with one short generation
Visit the Agent console to check your credits, create a key or manage authorizations. Use a short pair of assets to complete an upload, estimate, generation and download before adding batches or other tools.
